Wiltshire Cricket Early Engagement Phase - Boys and Girls (U10-U12) - Registrations for Trials now open!

Wiltshire Cricket is pleased to confirm that information has been sent to cricket clubs regarding GIRLS AND BOYS EARLY ENGAGEMENT PHASE (Under 10 - Under 12) trials. These trials will be for selection on to 2025-2026 programmes.

IMPORTANT - Our process for nominating players from clubs has now changed. Clubs should ensure that they read the nomination and trials letter that has been emailed to them on 11th July 2025, and then forward this onto the parents / guardians of their nominated players. Parents and guardians will then be responsible for registering their son / daughter for a trial.

CHANGES TO TALENT PATHWAY FOR 2025-2025 - READ MORE: Ahead of this winter, Wiltshire Cricket has made a number of changes to its Talent Pathway including the introduction of the Early Engagement Programme and some changes to County Age Group Cricket

CLUBS ARE ASKED NOT TO COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION FORM ON BEHALF OF THE PLAYER, THIS SHOULD BE DONE BY THE PARENT DIRECTLY

Quoting the attached Nomination and Trials letter:

IMPORTANT – Following the changes we made to our trial registration process two years ago we are attempting to keep the process as similar as possible for 2025-2026.

Rather than clubs nominating players to Wiltshire Cricket, clubs are required to share the registration link provided with the players that they would like to be considered in the trial process. This is not an open link for anyone to register and it must remain with those that clubs would like to put forward for talent pathway cricket consideration.

The reason for clubs sharing the registration link with parents/guardians is because we would like parents/guardians of the players who they believe warrant a trial to make the decision themselves as to whether they wish for their child to attend a trial. As part of this registration, parents/guardians will provide their accurate contact information and will have the option to agree to receive communications from Wiltshire Cricket.
